After reviewing the best teams of the 1920s I'd like to highlight the best game, coach and players of the decade. The Best Game This was another tough call so I had to choose two games and, as it turns out both involved Green Bay East. The first was the 1927 battle between East and city rival Green Bay West. The Best Teams of the 1920s
Post-World War I America was a wild time in sports. Babe Ruth and the New York Yankees ruled major league baseball. Notre Dame really came into prominence on the college football scene, especially with the “Four Horsemen” backfield. Bobby Jones was the king of the golf links all over America. It's Not About the Numbers: 1976 Antigo - Part 2
1976 was a pivotal season in Wisconsin high school football. As you may know, the WIAA started the football playoff system for the public schools. The private school’s playoffs began in 1969.
